Parenting can feel overwhelming and many parents struggle with worrying they are doing it “right.” In therapy, we can explore what your desires are for you family, the hurdles you are facing, and the traps you keep falling in to. We will work through any past experiences that may be impacting your ability to be present and enjoy your family. We will also create a parenting plan that helps you feel confident as you enter each new stage of parenting.

The length of treatment varies person to person. Every person's journey is unique. Some people find that even after their initial concerns clear up, they would like to continue to meet as a way of maintaining progress, working through new goals, or simply to have regular check-ups. I will work with you to make sure that the frequency and duration make sense for your specific needs.

This varies widely based on what you are coming to counseling for, your schedule, and your finances. That said, I typically see clients make the most progress when they are able to commit to weekly (or every other week) for the first 4-6 weeks.
